Windows Firewall is off for a network profile
What this means
The firewall is off for: ‹firewall off profiles›. On a network of that type, every listening service on this machine can be reached.
How to fix it
Turn it back on in Windows Security → Firewall & network protection, or run Set-NetFirewallProfile -All -Enabled True in an elevated PowerShell.
Check it yourself
Run a scan and look for BLWK-WIN-003 in the results:
sh
bulwark scanInstalled the standalone CLI package instead of the app? The command is bulwarkctl.
How Bulwark decides
Bulwark reads windows_security and reports this check when:
text
firewall_all_on_known == true and firewall_all_on == falseIf a value can't be read, Bulwark reports the check as undetermined rather than passing it. View the rule source.
